Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Yes, yes, I’ve said it. The ‘C’ word again. More importantly is the ‘O’ word… Outfit.

Christmas is one of THE most photographed times of the year. Whether it’s meals with family, Christmas Day or works dos. You are going to be in pictures spanning decades, with future generations looking back at wonderful memories. You want to feel amazing, right?!

Every year myself and my family do a themed look. We’ve had hats, red, jumpers – oh man, I love a Christmas jumper, but now I’m 30, this year I want to wear something spectacular. Something special that I can look back on photos and see a young woman, wife, young(ish) Mum who never goes out, so doesn’t get the opportunity to go glam. I want to really treat myself to something lovely!

I’ve been lusting after THE ONE so have been trawling shops & websites and have put together some of my FAVOURITE Christmas outfits! I’ll cover extraaaa glam, maternity, fun & budget options…

So you fancy splurging out on a real cracker? This stunning Iridescent Green Gabby Sequin Plunge Dress is £48 from Motel Rocks and I’m sure you will agree, it depicts the Christmas party scene in all it’s wonderful, sequinned glory!

I’m teaming it with beautiful gold jewellery. No necklace required with this gorgeous neckline! I actually think this outfit is so gorgeous without any other jewellery pieces – don’t want to go overboard!

But we cannot neglect the ears… I picked these earrings from House of Fraser (£42 down from £60). These stunning earrings are the perfect design for this style of dress. Not too showy but just bold & sparkly enough to tie the look together. Delicate but fancy (Mikey Cubic Baguette Square Design).

Finally, I would pair these beautiful Carvela Stiletto Ankle Boots from John Lewis (£129) to pull the whole look together!

And here is the whole look!

Total price: £219

If, like me, you could only DREAM of having £200+ to splurge on the dress of your dreams, there is hope guys! I hope you’ll agree this budget outfit will make you feel every ounce the Christmas Princess you absolutely are;

  1. I definitely love two things, fashion and Christmas. And dressing up for Christmas is one think I wouldn’t pass up. There are some gorgeous pieces. Definitely taking note of these for our company’s Christmas party!

  2. All the sets you featured have merit at different price points. I love that you can look festive at different prices. I love them all.

  3. I like the maternity dress best. It’s so simple and classy. I also love the earrings for the maternity dress. My best shoes are the ankle boots in the budget option. I don’t really like pointed boots (and especially not with gold studs). You have really good eyes for what matches.
